Well, it's snowing here again.

What a view from my window!

I'm starting to get all of the shops in order - finally!

The paper rosette fans are listed over in the Paper shop - they just make me think of spring!

When I decided to upcycle the Monopoly Game Board into new journal covers - I had to keep everything else in the box. The paper money came in such a beautiful variety of colors - just waiting to be made into something new! I created these bright and colorful Paper Rosette Toppers out of them!

Inspired from the Paper Fans from my own wedding -

 made for me by my Grandmother!

She has an eye for design and the skills to create it.

She was not only the Matron of Honor at my own wedding - but also the creative designer behind many beautiful paper decorations!

So why stop there?

 Now we're in business together!

She creates ALL of the paper confetti the shop has to offer!

Well - the studio is slowly getting back in working order.

We are in the middle of a snow - ice - more snow - winter storm (actually - more like the 5th or 6th) so transporting all of the studio equipment has taken longer than anticipated.

I have been busy painting - and cleaning - and organizing boxes of supplies.

I have reopened the shops - and I am looking forward to some productive studio time!

Well - I am super happy to announce my brand new website is finally up and running!

The website was a bit of a challenge ... (remember, I am usually binding books and making things with my hands - so it took a little longer than anticipated...)

I still have a few things to work on - but, it's coming along!

Whew!

Now - back to setting up my studio!

I finally made it to

*** Carlo's Bake Shop ****

 in Hoboken, New Jersey!

I'm a big fan of CAKE BOSS - 

so, I was very excited to see it in person.

Yeah! It was so much fun!

L and I had to wait forever just to get inside the shop!

Then - once inside - another half an hour wait!

WOW!

We couldn't even get up to the counters to see all of the baked goods!

While I didn't get to see Buddy - 

GUESS WHAT?!?!

I got to meet his SISTER - 

Maddalena Castano!!

She was so totally sweet and I got my picture with her!

So very cool!

The baked treats were to die for!

We loved the Italian cookies - 

the tiramisu cake-

and the crepes!

(Yeah, we went a little overboard!)

I definitely recommend stopping if you are in the neighborhood!

We have been very busy already in this New Year!

Exciting happenings - new places and spaces!

I have been slowly relocating my studio - 
and hope to have everything back up and running again very soon.

Busy painting - sanding - cleaning -  reorganizing

It's so very cold here - it reminded me of a time almost a year ago - of a very cold, cold day in Paris!

I'm working on getting my brand new website up and running very soon!
