Macaroons at Laduree

Laduree is a 19th century tea salon - which also includes a restaurant and a patisserie. The desserts are the most beautiful pieces of artwork I have ever seen in my life! (And, they are absolutely wonderful to eat!) I could stay here all day. The interior is just lovely - we waited in line for a array of multi-colored macaroons. The little cakes are precious, the colors are delightful, and the packaging is wonderful! We stayed for a charming dinner and had a little table by the window - great to people watch! Did I mention that the macaroons are delectable?! Our box of macaroons included cafe, pistache, rose, vanille, fleur d'oranger, and framboise.
