Hey...I just wanted to post this quick - I was working on this last night...adding leather here....

The cover flap is actually a pocket off one of my thrift store coats!
I've been trying to incorporate more of the "leftovers" into the journals.
I really like how this is looking -
but, this is only a prototype
(read between the lines...I'm a perfectionist...
and there are some stitch lines that
I'm not entirely happy with
- since I was just sewing as ideas came into my head
....so this is my sample journal...
meaning....I get to keep this one! Yeah!)

i love the pocket on the front...very clever and resourceful! and, i know what you mean about the perfectionist thing...i've been trying to get a little better about that, but sometimes i wonder if that surely must be a prerequisite for bookmaking(?)! anyway, i'm glad that you get to keep this one...it's fabulous! :)
