Black leather journal (once a briefcase) with tan leather straps - hand sewn with a french link stitch with lime green thread.

I hammered the straps to the black leather with eyelets - and gently sanded the eyelets and leather to give more of a "worn" look.

Today was CLEANING day in the studio!

Ugh!

It was just getting too chaotic and although I usually don't mind stepping over heaps of leather and paper and follow the small path to get to my tools at the other end of the table - it had just gotten out of hand.

So, a few visits to the store and a few black shelves later -

all is in order again....

well,

until tomorrow at least!
