Just wanted to post this latest journal.

The cover is from an upcycled French Atlas -

blue cover - with large aqua embossed circles.

Hand stitched with french link stitch - onto green leather straps.

I hand punched the center out of each strap and replaced the circle with a matching aqua leather circle - to imitate the circles on the front cover.

The straps were then hand sewn onto both the front and back cover.

A matching aqua leather strap has been riveted onto the back cover.

This journal was fun to make - and experiment with the leather strap bindings.

I have been hand sewing the leather straps onto the covers with more detail - and I have lots of ideas about this for future books!
