New *vintage* Paris Journal!

Authentic vintage book cover! Not a reprint!
Rescued from the Puces de Vanves market in Paris!

What a perfect journal - for your upcoming travels to PARIS!

I do adore this little journal - and you wouldn't have recognized it when I spotted it by itself on a tiny little table. The cover was completely ripped off - the spine destroyed and the pages falling out. It was a sad sight! But, I loved it and had visions of remaking it into a perfect little travel journal! Here's the finished product!

Interior white paper - 160g
hand cut - hand folded - hand punched - hand sewn

82 pages total(164 counting both sides)

The original decorative book covers were made of very thin book board - so I carefully hand cut new cover boards using acid free bookbinders board - and adhered the original covers onto the new book board.

The interior paper on the front and back covers - have been replaced with heavy burgundy Canson paper (160g). The burgundy paper is also the first and last page of the journal. The signatures each have small burgundy spacers (1/2") - to create the burgundy color on the spine.

I have carefully mixed a matching burgundy acrylic color for the edges of the cover boards - carefully sanded first - stained with color - sealed with adhesive and finished with a wax coating.

I have also salvaged a vintage metro map from the original book - and I have included it in the back of the journal! It is simply precious - and tri-folds into the last page of the journal.
